Some highlights from 2022:
- Got a girlfriend Arai, which I met in August. We did a lot of hiking: Vettakollen, Grefsenkollen, Isdammen, Østensjø-vannet (fulglereservoir), Lutvann, Steinbruvannet, bjørnsjøhelvete and more
- Walked almost 60 km in a day (ultratur with DNT), in Vestmarka
- Ran almost 100 km over 3-4 days 12-15 august with DNT in Jotunheimen
- Went to Trolltunga with Peter and Homayoun
- Tried a lot of different things in the summer: Padel tennis, Kayak, buldring
- Decided to my stop as CEO at Famme and start getting back to 100% tech, started a new job at Itera (consultant company)
- Learned a few juggling tricks
- Improved my relative pitch / ear recognition
For mye training new year’s resolution, the results were:
- 150 wide push ups straight: 100
- 100 narrow push up: 75
- 10 minute plank: 4.1
- 150 air squats: 110
- 30 hang ups: 21
- 25 pull ups: 18
- 90 second handstand: 45
- Handstand without wall in 30 seconds: 5
- Run around Songsvann in 13 minutes, 3.25 km: 13.43
- 100 leg raises: 70
- 30 pistol squats: 21
So I was not very far from my goal in some cases. For 2023 I will keep basically the same goals and try to reach them.
with regards to the health goals, I stayed mostly away from candy and I was mostly going early to bed. With regards to cold showering, at the last month of the year, I managed to cold shower almost every day, and I feel I can now do it “everytime I want”, without using much willpower.
I failed at my business and skills goals, except I improved my relative pitch a lot, but not as much as I had hoped to do.
I deleted my Facebook this year, do not miss it for now I guess. Only value with Facebook for me would be marketing.
2023 Goals
Training
- 150 wide push ups
- 100 narrow push up
- 10 minute plank
- 150 air squats
- 30 hang ups
- 25 pull ups
- Improve front split and back split
- Hand stand towards wall: 90 S
- Handstand without wall: 30 S
- Songsvann full round (3.25 km): 13 minutes
- 100 leg raises
- 30 pistol squats
Daily:
- Running outside every day: 13 minnutes
Health
- Never go to bed after 11.15 PM
- Do not eat candy - chocolate, ice, cake is OK
- Shower cold every day (but can start with warm shower)
- Be outside for at least 30 minutes every day, preferably daytime.
- Use phone less, avoid small screens and too much screen-time in general
Business
- Create more web applications outside work, and get at least a few users for these applications
Minimum for this year is at least one of these ideas:
- A review app for Shopify stores
- An invoicing app - maybe also expand this to more accounting functionality like vouchers, ledgers etc.

Integration between E-commerce stores and Carriers, like Webshipper
- Try to make a user interface close to Airtable and see if that can be applicable to “custom software” like invoicing app
Skills
- 6 balls juggling, at least 5 repetitions
- Juggling with 7 balls, 3 repetitions
- Improving ear recognition: Intervals, scales, chords. Reach a level so I can play a song, both melody and chords after listening a few times
- Improving photography skills by taking more photos of life events and myself
- Get so much hands-on experience and understanding of “the web” so I can create a web a “complicated” web app in under 1 week.
Languages
- Improve and maintain: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Kazakh, Russian. Maybe Romanian, Portuguese and dutch also
- Try using and testing more memory palace techniques
Relationship
- Strengthen my relationship with Arai. Listen carefully and help her, surprise her and make her life better <3
